Tune Trax
A group project in which we created a clone of SoundCloud, a social media hub that allows users to listen to music posted by themselves and other users. Users can like and comment on the songs as well.
Top Spots
A solo project in which I created a clone of Yelp. This allows users to create a spot, add reviews, and upload images to the spot's reviews.
About Me
My passion for coding started in my youth when I built websites for fun. I studied Dietetics at Purdue University, following that I spent 12 successful years in the food industry as a Food Safety / Quality Assurance professional. There, I developed strong skills in detail orientation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
In 2023, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a software engineer. I took a career break and completed App Academy's Software Engineering program in March 2024. My Quality Assurance background gives me a unique perspective on creating reliable, efficient, and user-friendly software. I'm now looking for opportunities to combine my coding passion and QA experience to make a positive impact in tech.
